Terms of Service
Akari is an AT Protocol client published by Lucid Softworks. By using Akari you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
The service
Akari is client software that connects to AT Protocol services (Personal Data Servers, AppViews, relays, labelers, etc.) chosen by you or by your account provider. Akari does not host accounts, posts, messages, or any other content. All record storage and account state lives on the AT Protocol services you authenticate against.
Your account
You sign in with credentials issued by your AT Protocol service provider — either an app password, or an OAuth grant. Lucid Softworks does not see, store, or transmit your password to anyone other than the service provider you sign into. You are responsible for following your service provider's terms and for keeping your credentials secure.
Conduct
You are responsible for the content you publish through Akari and for complying with the rules of the AT Protocol services you use. Akari does not pre-moderate content; moderation is performed by the services and labelers you choose to subscribe to.
Disclaimer of warranties
Akari is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Lucid Softworks makes no guarantees about availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the app will be free from defects.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucid Softworks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of Akari, including but not limited to data loss caused by upstream AT Protocol services, account suspension by your provider, or third-party interactions on the network.
Changes
These terms may change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Akari after a change indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
